Redevelopment on our Campuses

Niagara College is proud of our world-class facilities at our two Ontario campuses in Welland and Niagara-on-the-Lake. Modern, flexible, technology enabled teaching and learning spaces are critical elements of student success. To support growth, enhance the student experience and expand research and innovation capabilities, Niagara College opened new, expanded, and renovated facilities, including:

Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake

› Renovated Glynn Family Library and Learning Commons, featuring a fresh, modern design open learning environment, increased seating, and flexible individual and collaborative study spaces.

› Acquisition of the Niagara Corporate Business Centre, a 33-acre property adjacent to the Daniel J. Patterson campus, featuring a three-story office building, which increases the footprint of the campus and provides long-term flexibility and room for expansion.

Welland Campus

› Renovated Technology lab spaces and equipment renewal in the Voyageur wing provide expanded space for students in the Electronics/ Electrical, Industrial Automation, and Photonics program.

› Renovated Eva M. Lewis Library, featuring new furniture and a redesigned flexible library space, with an upcoming digital makerspace with equipment for filming and editing media, designing graphics, and creating prototypes with a 3D printer.
