New customer services centre A new customer service centre is being planned for Dewsbury.
Due to open 2012
You will be able to: pay council tax, Yorkshire Water bills and council rent; apply for housing and council tax benefit; discuss housing needs; and apply for a Kirklees Passport or a Blue Badge. A whole range of other services, advice and information will be available as well.
The new centre will be based in the Walsh Building, Town Hall Way. It will replace the current customer services at Dewsbury Town Hall with a modern, specially designed centre. The Town Hall will focus on its role as an events venue.

Pioneer House has dominated Dewsbury’s skyline since 1878, when it was built for Dewsbury Pioneers’ Industrial Society. Over the years, it has changed ownership and been home to a wide variety of tenants.
