AIESEC in Vietnam has more than 450 active members from 20 local universities and over 2100 alumni working in leading local and multinational companies. AIESEC in Vietnam was established in 2006. For the past 9 years, we have been facilitating youth leadership activities as well as international internships and volunteer experiences across Vietnam. At Ignite conference 2010, AIESEC HCMC was awarded as the BEST LC of AIESEC in Vietnam. INTRODUCTION Beautiful Mind aims to help autism children at the orphanage (6-15 ages) improve their English and soft skills.
The Vietnamese autistic children are very shy, reserved and occasionally frightened at the sight of practicing English. This leads to a huge demerit in their future lives. Thus, Bim Bim - the NGO - is in need of devoted volunteers to teach children and help them open their hearts better.

*NOTE: From 6 Feb to 30 June. You can start whenever you are ready. Each internship lasts 6 weeks
JOB DESCRIPTIONS #JD1: Fully understand about the children before teaching (their conditions, attitudes, communication method, teaching method should be applied). Prepare, conduct and develop an English teaching program appropriate for autistic children from age 6 to 15. Build and develop at least 2 teaching equipment/materials #JD2: Ensure development of your student language skills by tests, class activities, constant communication, outdoor activities and following plan. Actively communicate with other interns to share experience and learn from them.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS #JD3: Fill in AIESEC Global Community Development Program Feedback Survey 3 times & give us comments: after matched status, in Vietnam after around 2 weeks and back to home country. Furthermore, please fill in questionnaire before coming to Vietnam.
#JD5: Actively participate in LC activities: orientation day (obligatory), training (if any), CEED (optionally), reflection activities, promotion activities, events related to exchange, etc.
#JD4: Represent your country to Vietnamese people: children, Vietnamese volunteers, AIESEC-ers, students,‌
#JD6: Prepare report and submit at the end of the project, in order to ensure that your experience will contribute to the next batch of interns.
