New member profile: Mojay Pots
Mojay Pots is an independent Australian-owned business supplying garden pots and feature pieces to garden centres and other resellers. Continuing the tradition of 40 years of great service and product range, Mojay Pots has developed some great new initiatives in recent years, including their B2B Portal for online wholesale ordering, and Augmented Reality (AR) 3D view of their pots as a digital image in the real world via your mobile phone.
What makes Mojay Pots unique?
Mojay Pots is a fully Australian owned and operated business and has been in the gardening industry for over 40 years. We pride ourselves on not only combining innovative ideas like Augmented Reality, but also our initiatives such as our MIMS programme as well as product and industry knowledge.
What is your stock range?
We have an extensive range of premium quality pots, planters, water bowls, statues and an exclusive range of plastic saucers and other similar products from around the world.



Who is a typical Mojay Pots customer?
Our customers, many of whom have been with us for over 40 years, are primarily independent garden centres, florists, landscapers, and designers. We love supporting local businesses and due to our ever-evolving business model, we know that we can cater to each of our customers requirements to gain the best result.
How do you market yourselves to your customers?
We now have a Victorian State Manager, Mitchell Burke, based in Melbourne and he is on the road visiting Garden Centres and other associated businesses throughout Victoria. There will also be targeted marketing campaigns through social media and EDMs.
We have a comprehensive website with all information available on all our products with the idea that our customers can use our website and features as a sales tool for their customers view products in their own space and for them to order these through the garden centres creating more sales.
Do you have any longer-term plans for Mojay Pots?
While we have been in the Victorian market for some time, this year sees our new State Manager, Mitch, move to Melbourne so that he can be instrumental in expanding our presence in Victoria. We have numerous other plans for the future and will keep you all informed as they come in to place.

Tell us a little bit about your core team and skills.
Mitch, your new Mojay Pots sales manager in Victoria, comes from a background in sales for a large wholesale nursery, and then as sales representative for several years in the New South Wales and Sydney market with Mojay Pots. He has a great knowledge of Mojay Pots products and how we can work to achieve the best result for your business with Mojay Pots initiatives.
Mitch is backed up by the team at Head Office in Ingleburn, NSW.
Have you worked with any NGIV members?
We have worked with numerous NGIV members before Mitch relocating to Melbourne and we look forward to working with many more in the near future.
How can NGIV members learn more about Mojay Pots products and services?
Mojay Pots launched a new website in mid/late 2022 with lots of new features. All our products are viewable on our website as well as an Industry first – Augmented Reality. Our website also provides stockists and service providers, all information about our quality products, contact information and access to the B2B portal to order directly online at any time.
Why did you decide to choose to become an NGIV member?
We have been a member of the NGINA for many years and have been attending the monthly Trade Days, and feel that this is the best way to become a part of the industry in Victoria, by supporting and being a part of the Trade Days and other events.
