NFAA OUTDOOR NATIONAL FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS JULY 24-26 | YANKTON, SD Join us at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center in Yankton, SD for the 81st Annual NFAA Outdoor National Field Championships.

Immediately following, from July 26–31, 2026, the IFAA World Field Championships will take place at the same venue. All NFAA members are welcome to participate!

IFAA WORLD FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS JULY 25 - AUG 1 | YANKTON, SD The 2026 IFAA World Field Archery Championships is a five-day international field archery competition held July 25–August 1, 2026, at the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center in South Dakota, where archers shoot a series of Field, Hunter, and Animal rounds over varied terrain.

FIRST DAKOTA CLASSIC AUGUST 28-29 | YANKTON, SD

DATE CHANGE!

The First Dakota Classic is an indoor distance tournament featuring the NFAA Classic round. 70% payback is guaranteed in all Flight and Championship categories with scholarships awarded for all Junior division Champions and top Collegiate finishers based on participation.

NFAA OUTDOOR NATIONAL TARGET CHAMPIONSHIPS AUGUST 29-30 | YANKTON, SD The NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center will host the 11th annual NFAA Outdoor National Target Championships. The event will be a 2day outdoor shoot featuring an NFAA Classic 600 Round on Day 1 and an NFAA 900 Round on Day 2.

NORTH AMERICAN FIELD ARCHERY CHAMPIONSHIPS OCTOBER 3-4 | CHINO, CA The North American Field Archery Championships is an annual event held in the United States and Canada, attracting competitors from Europe, Canada, and across various U.S. states. All NFAA members are welcome to compete!

SCHOLARSHIPS

NFAA SECTIONAL TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIP In collaboration with the NFAA Foundation, the Sectional Travel Scholarship aims to foster the growth and participation of junior archers in national-level competitions. In 2026, we are thrilled to award $8,000 in travel scholarships to support young talent in archery.

The travel scholarship is a stipend to cover the entry fee and travel expenses (e.g., travel, accommodations, meals) incurred by the athlete during one of the eligible tournaments. A reimbursement form with specific details and per diem limits will be provided to the winners. Receipts will be required for reimbursement. Payment will be provided after the event’s conclusion. Both the travel scholarship and the entry fee must be used at the same NFAA or NFAA Foundation event. If archers are 18 or older at the time of event registration, they will receive a discounted adult entry fee.

Eligible events: Rushmore Rumble, The Vegas Shoot, NFAA Indoor National Championship, NFAA 1-Arrow Marked 3D National Championship (NFAA Portion), First Dakota Classic, NFAA Marked 3D National Championship (NFAA Portion), NFAA Outdoor National Field Championship, & Outdoor National Target Championship.

Application Deadline: September 2, 2026. Scholarship winners will be notified before November 1, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria: Must be between the ages of 8 and 17 as of January 1, 2027.

Must participate in NFAA State and/or Sectional Championships event(s) in 2026.

Must be a valid NFAA member.

Professional archers are not eligible.

Required Submission Materials: 200-500 word essay on the 2027 NFAA or NFAAF events the participant would like to attend.

OUTDOOR SECTIONALS & NATIONAL SERIES APRIL 25 - JULY 12 | A RANGE NEAR YOU! Archers compete against others in their section to become the Sectional Champion, and scores are cumulated across all sections to determine the National Series Champion in each division! Review a current list of locations in each section via the Registration tab. Watch for more locations and dates to be announced as they are approved.

NATIONAL OUTDOOR LEAGUES NATIONAL FIELD LEAGUE: MAY 11 - JULY 31 NATIONAL TARGET LEAGUE: JUNE 1 - AUG 23 Choose your League. Join the National Field League, the National Target League, or BOTH! Each League runs for 12 weeks, culminating with each respective National Championship event. Members are given the unique opportunity to compete at a national level from their home range or submit scores from any NFAA event.

NFAA MARKED 3D NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP DRAWS ARCHERS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE The NFAA, in partnership with Straight Arrow Bow Hunters, proudly hosted the 32nd Annual Marked 3D National Championship in conjunction with the 42nd Annual Western Classic Trail Shoot, May 1 3, 2026, in Redding, California. The combined event welcomed 1,355 archers from around the globe.

READ MORE! A NEW SEASON IS SET: 2027 NFAA INDOOR CALENDAR RELEASED The NFAA has announced its national calendar for the 2027 indoor season, welcoming archers back to a lineup of familiar venues.

Following a strong positive response to last year’s events, competitors are set to carry that momentum forward into the new season.

ARCHERS RISE TO THE CHALLENGE AT BTB & NFAA 1-ARROW 3D NATIONALS The NFAA proudly continued its partnership with Break the Barriers (BTB) to host the 2026 BTB & NFAA 1-Arrow 3D National Championship, held April 18–19, 2026, on a private ranch outside of Fresno, California. The event welcomed 542 archers, including 55 collegiate competitors, from around the world to take on one of the most unique formats in the sport.

NATIONAL INDOOR LEAGUE DRIVES NATIONWIDE PARTICIPATION The 2026 National Indoor League delivered 12 weeks of dynamic competition giving archers the opportunity to compete on an international stage without ever leaving their home ranges. Held from January 5 through March 29, the annual League once again showcased a format that connects athletes across the globe while keeping competition accessible at the local level.
