PHARMACY TECHNICIAN The pharmacy technician supplies medicines with prescription or without prescription to the patient and assemble different medicines for administering them to patients, offering info to the healthcare professionals and patients reading the dosage and the medicine brands.Â


MANUAL DUTY The duties of pharmacy technician are both technical and non-technical in nature. A pharmacy technician counts the pills and labels the medicine bottles. The label they put on the bottle contains the right dosage with exacts milligrams of a particular component.


KNOWLEDGE ABOUT BRANDS: Pharmacy technician should have the knowledge of different brands of one medicine. This knowledge is really helpful if the pharmacy runs out of a particular brand of a medicine. They should also know the difference between common types of medicines.


ADMINISTERING MEDICINES: A pharmacy technician makes sure that the patients are given the medicines stated on their prescriptions. A pharmacy technician works in hospitals, clinics and pharmacy.Â


DUTY IN HOSPITAL SETTING: Pharmacy technicians file the records of the patients, and manage the inventory of the stock. The technicians also make rounds, giving the medicines to the patient in the hospitals.Â
