SAYVA PHILLIPS, 11 My dearest friend, I was told to write a poem What type of words do you fi t in a poem? So many ideas came from about Yet, a subject came to my mind without a doubt

My dearest friend, I am writing about a person They are adventurous and determined The thoughts that roam in their mind are like a puzzle The pieces are the words, coming out with a hustle

My dearest friend, as sun shine on their hazel eyes They refl ect colors of green, gold, and grey skies The golden hair runs across thy face in the wind Refl ecting a pool of honey on their skin

My dearest friend, they gesticulate when they talk Their feet has a rhythm when they walk The touch of their hand feels like silk Their breaths between thy words are richer than milk

My dearest friend, their smile is as beautiful as the leaves in fall The way their teeth glistens off the wall Your fi rst question might contain the word who? But my dearest friend, this poem is about you.
