Girl, 14, remains in serious condition after Livingston accident

A 14 year-old-old Grimsby girl remains in “serious condition” as of Tuesday afternoon after a Monday morning incident on Livingston Avenue at Brierwood Avenue in Grimsby.

According to Niagara Regional Police, 8 District was dispatched to the scene at 7:48 a.m.

The pedestrian was transported to an out-ofregion hospital. When the pedestrian arrived at the hospital their injuries were determined be life-threatening. The pedestrian remains in hospital. The vehicle involved is a black H3 Hummer SUV being driven by a 17-year-old female.”

NRP confirmed Tuesday the pedestrian was still in serious condition.

Livingston was reopened about 4 p.m.

The NRPS Collision Reconstruction Unit, assisted by the Foren- sic Services Unit, were called in to determine the circumstances and cause of the incident. Anyone who may have witnessed this incident or have information is asked to contact detectives by calling 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009170.
