From the time Jerry Gerritsen first opened his autobody shop in 1969, to when he retired and passed on the

Beforetorch to his son, Alan in 2011 to today, Jerry’s Auto Body has been a steadfast part of the Lincoln Community.

Alan attributes his business’ longevity to his team of veteran technicians. Jon Jorritsma has been with Jerry’s for 15 years after start- ing off as a co-op student. Ryan van Andal, who has more than 10 years of experience as a body repair technician, was hired more than a year ago to take the place of Gerald Koop, who had recently retired after 46 years at Jerry’s.
