So if each of us brought back just one battery to the Civic amenity or to the retailer when purchasing new ones 4 million batteries (100 tonnes) would be diverted from Ireland’s landfill! Now that’s a lot of batteries recycled through one simple action. We are always trying to encourage everyone to recycle in anyway they can, so I am delighted to see the Christmas decoration competition is being run again this year.
