Ali Ball nears the finish line of the “undie run” she organized to benefit research for neurofibromatosis (NF). Ball’s son was diagnosed with the disease in 2016. The condition can cause tumors to form in the brain, spinal cord and nerves. Ball organized the run with help from Cupid’s Charity, a national nonprofit that funds research for NF.
