Wardkiss Glenashley opened its doors

The new Wardkiss store in Durban North is the flagship store for the Wardkiss franchise offering. The store is nothing short of stunning with the lighting, signage and layout showcasing products in the best possible manner. Gerritt from Legendz Store Renovators and Andre, from Black and Orange Creative outdid themselves, creating a retail environment that is inspirational, clean and modern, an environment that encourages consumers to want to upgrade their homes and to buy.

Situated above the original Wardkiss store, the new store has a deck and a very welcoming facade. The original store will still operate as a contractor section affording additional floor space for the more traditional hardware product ranges that contractors require.

The day’s live broadcasts also stirred up qualified interest from potential franchise owners with over 15 enquiries during the morning.

Consumers at the store were automatically entered into a lucky draw for a house paint makeover when making a purchase.

The evening concluded with a cocktail party, attended by a mix of developers, contractors, paint and hardware suppliers, representatives from the financial industry, key role players in the region and members of the media.

Store manager, Scott Kreutzer welcomed and thanked guests and acknowledged all the Wardkiss staff members including; Brett Daniel (operations manager), Jeremia Cussons (franchise manager), Murray Smythe (stock controller), Matt Smith (financial director), Ivor Funnel (Paint contracting manager) and Siyanda Mabaso (QS manager).

A lucky draw was done and the hamper was won by Michael Taylor from Construction ID.

After the draw, Alan Palmer, owner of the Wardkiss Group took to the stage thanking his team and all those in attendance. He re-iterated his excitement about the journey and highlighted the benefits of becoming a Wardkiss Franchisee.
