Are you an aspiring novelist, literary aficionado, or a regular book lover? Join us for an inside look at the world of novel writing! This local author panel will gather local authors of different genres to talk about their books, their writing process, inspiration and more. Authors will be available for book purchases and signing after the panel.

Looking for something to do on a Thursday night? Look no more! Join us for a brain-busting evening at Beggars Pizza in New Lenox (650 Maple Street, New Lenox).

Enjoy pizza and drinks and answer questions on a multitude of topics. Play by yourself or as part of a team for prizes! Registration required.

Mask requirements within the facility are determined by restaurant staff. LearningExpress is an online resource that helps you advance your educational, professional, and personal life.

With tons of resources in each center, LearningExpress has what you need to prepare for an exam, explore a new career path, and improve your basic writing, math, and computer skills.

There are many structured courses that are grouped into various Centers, including one entirely in Spanish.

Each course can contain tests, ebooks, courses, tutorials, and articles. Go to newlenoxlibrary.org/booksservices/azresources. Scroll to LearningExpress, and click on the “Access LearningExpress” button.

You can now browse LearningExpress for free, but you’ll need to create an account in order to save your progress.

Using needle felting techniques, Natasha will walk you through how to transform wool into “Twiggy the Reindeer.”
