Teen Artist of the Month
teen artist of the month Siena Adducci
What inspires you? Traveling. I have seen and experienced history and cultures by visiting 28 states. Every new state earns a state flag which I collect and hang. My family has created such great moments and experiences with me. I’m happy when I travel.

Do you have any habits or routines when you create?
I love to listen to music while I create or write. Some of my favorite artists are Luke Bryant, Blake Shelton, Dillon Scott, Imagine Dragons, and U2.
Do you keep a sketchbook?
No, I just decide to paint and go for it.
Do you have favorite themes?
I love silhouettes and nature.
Do you do any research when creating work?
I scan through other art I have seen and look for scenery that resembles my travel memories. We love to hike through national parks, so I have painted trees, oceans and flowers. We also completed a hot air balloon adventure this past summer, so I re-created that.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Work hard, study hard, be kind, and cherish every day. Today and my future will reflect all of those habits. Life is a true blessing, and I am thankful for the many blessings God has given me.
