Happy trails.

The trails at Sweetwater can be described as lots of things: some are rugged (and a little challenging). Others are a little more leisurely. But all are the honest-to-goodness kind that let you truly experience the beautiful nature of the Hill Country. Hop on one and you’ll see what we (and a lot of happy hikers) mean.

BEFORE YOU HEAD OUT…

Some important rules to keep yourself safe, and our trails beautiful.

- Trails are for Sweetwater residents and accompanied guests only

- Kids under 12 must be with an adult

- Trails are open from dawn to dusk

- No motorized vehicles (except ADA equipment)

- Bikers, please yield to pedestrians

- No littering (& clean up after pets!)

- Dogs must be on-leash at all times

- Don’t feed the wildlife

- Trails are subject to flooding—don’t cross fastmoving streams

- No firearms or hunting

- No fires, alcohol, smoking, or camping

- Don’t cut, remove, or disturb natural landscape

- Use of trails is at your own risk

- Have an emergency? Call 911
