Royal Park The village of Quedgeley lies on the banks of the River Severn, just three miles south of the centre of Gloucester. With the glorious Cotswolds nearby, as well as the vibrant cultural and commercial centre of Cheltenham, your new home at Royal Park could hardly enjoy a more attractive location. Let’s start with the practicalities. Living in Quedgeley scores very highly for convenience. As well as being within comfortable distance of both Gloucester and Cheltenham, the M5 is easily accessible. So, by road or rail, you can get to wherever you need to be, from Bristol to Birmingham, Cardiff to London. If you haven’t visited Gloucester lately, you’re in for a very pleasant surprise, as the Roman city undergoes its most exciting period of city centre and dockside regeneration for centuries. Meanwhile, neighbouring Cheltenham’s understated Regency elegance continues to act as a magnet for shoppers and tourists. Among a feast of cultural attractions, you’ll have six theatres to choose from as well as the world famous Cheltenham festivals of literature and jazz.

How to find us:

Heading out of town, Gloucestershire is justly renowned as one of England’s loveliest counties. A designated Area of Outstanding Natural beauty, the Cotswolds are the perfect place for a ramble, dotted with mellow market towns and picture postcard villages (many with delightful pubs). To the West, the Forest of Dean is equally enchanting; a woodland haven from the pressures of modern life.

• From the North or South (M5):

As for leisure pursuits of every kind, Gloucestershire has got something for everyone – especially horse-lovers. As well as the Badminton Horse Trials, there’s national hunt racing’s greatest annual festival at Cheltenham.
