Step 2. Foundation and concealer are applied to smooth skin tone and create a flawless finish. Joanne often uses an airbrush to apply foundation the day of the wedding. The trend is towards dewy skin, rather than a flat matte finish, which an airbrush achieves. It creates an even layer, and the foundation will last the entire event. While you wouldn’t need airbrushed foundation for everyday wear, it is ideal for weddings. You will be confident that your photos will reflect a worry-free and polished bride.

Hair & Make-Up

Step 1. The first step is the application of eye shadow. It is applied before anything else because loose powder from the shadow will be covered up with foundation. Morgan has asked for a natural look, but would like to enhance her eyes. Mascara is added to make Morgan’s eyes stand out. The day of the wedding, false eyelashes are often recommended to create volume. Today’s faux lashes are natural looking, and easy to put on and wear. Most importantly, they will help your eyes stand out in photos. Also, when thinking of your wedding photos, don’t be afraid to wear a more makeup than you are used to. Makeup is meant to enhance the beauty of features, like eyes and lips, and a good makeup artist will help you achieve that effect.

Step 3. Morgan’s eyes are the focal point of her makeup look, so the lips are given a touch of color and gloss. The trend for lips is pinks and roses, with shiny gloss. Stay away from lipsticks that are too neutral, frosted, or deep in pigment. Gloss is an easy product to tuck in a small purse, and easy to touch up during your event.
