Nice day for a green wedding: how to have a more sustainable day with Penny Steel, Folkerton Mill
If you do your bit for the environment daily, chances are you’ll want to carry your eco-friendly ethos through to your wedding. Hear from Penny Steel, owner one of Scotland’s most sustainable wedding venues, Folkerton Mill (stand H26), about how you can make eco-conscious choices for your big day, from attire to favours.
Eve MacDonald, Assistant Editor of Tie the Knot Scotland, offers eight simple steps to planning your wedding
Take a deep breath, close your eyes and picture what you’d like your wedding day to look like. Is it a large party or an intimate gathering? Is an elopement much more ‘you’? Whatever you picture, this a great starting point for what you and your SO actually want. Once you have an idea (and it’s natural for this to change over time), get your Pinterest pins saved, moodboards created and your copy of Tie the Knot Scotland purchased. Thinking about the overall ‘vibe’ of your day can really set the tone for things such as colour palettes, flower choices and venue decor.
Setting a budget will impact a lot of your key wedding decisions. Come up with a rough figure (there are stacks of wedding budget calculators online) and that way you won’t waste time researching things that are out-with that. There are many amazing Scottish suppliers, venues and stores that suit a wide range of budgets. Top tip: Keep in mind you may need a little extra on top for any emergencies.
It’s natural for couples to go looking for a venue with a set date in mind. But, more often than not, they can be left feeling disappointed if the venue they fall in love with isn’t available. Unless you’re open to wiggle room, it’s worthwhile deciding at least the time of year you’d like to tie the knot. Plus, timings can also help with costs, as summer weddings, for example, can be more expensive than an off-peak one.
The amount of people you’d like to invite really does make a difference, especially when it comes to picking your venue. And lots of other factors will influence it too, including budget and location. There will no doubt be key people that you want to be there, but take your time deciding who will attend the day versus the evening.
Make the most of open days (where the venue will be dressed for a wedding) to get a feel for how somewhere could look on your big day. Plus, keep in mind your budget, guest numbers and have a think about some ‘non-negotiables’. Perhaps you’d like exclusive use of the place, or you’d rather it was only a 20-minute drive from your home? Go armed with your questions to help narrow down your choice.
Once you’ve got your venue secured, it’s time to start looking at suppliers. Flowers, decor, photographers, content creators, transport, celebrants, entertainment… the endless list can feel a little ‘much’. Look through this showguide, as it’s full of suppliers you can speak to at the show. Follow those you like on Instagram and TikTok, as their content is a great way to see how your day can come to life. And don’t forget to ask about lead times.
Planning your wedding is also the countdown to one of the most important days of your life, so among all the admin, you should try to remember to enjoy it! From organising monthly date-nights as you take one step closer to saying ‘I do’, to dividing tasks so you’re not doing it all on your own; take time to relax and treasure special moments.
Top tip: Don’t forget about the legal parts too (like giving notice of your marriage and filling out M10 forms). Pop a regular calendar reminder in your phone so you know exactly when these need to be done.
You’ve got your budget set, guest list written, venue picked and suppliers selected… the next thing is to pick an outfit! Whether you can’t wait to hit the shops or you’re feeling a little apprehensive, don’t worry, there’s an option for everyone. From brides’ dresses to grooms’ show-stopping outfits, research styles that you like and think you’d feel most comfortable in. Then, find out where they’re stocked in Scotland and go try them on. Top tip: Go with an open mind – you might fall in love with something unexpected!
Make rash decisions
Obsess over trends
Compare on social media
Worry about other’s opinions
Try to do everything yourself
Be too stressed to enjoy the actual wedding day
Ignore hidden costs
Forget why you’re getting married in the first place
Makeup, jewellery, hair and dress… so many ways you can impress!
3DRESS
From prominent appliqués that make flowers and vines appear as though they’re growing from the gowns themselves, to hand-painted motifs to make brides feel like they’re wearing a masterpiece, floral elements such as daisies are bringing a touch of whimsy to the latest collections. A playful, elegant balance between 60s flower power and modern sophistication.
For a minimal look that makes a statement, consider a halterneck design. Drawing attention to your shoulders and collarbones, it creates an elegant elongating effect. It’s versatile too: working well with sleek satin, sheer overlays, backless and more, and is suitable for all wedding venues.
Future fashion trends are looking to the past for inspiration and gilded-age glamour is back in full force. This style is perfect for brides who want to channel that regal, opulent feel to make a statement on their big day. Think luxurious silk fabrics, intricate embroidery and off-white tones (cream, oyster and champagne), that combine tradition with a touch of high-end elegance.
Merge historical grandeur with modern simplicity to create an effortlessly elegant look. This style focuses on sharp, clean silhouettes, which enhance natural beauty through minimalist designs with sleek lines, as opposed to heavy fabrics or details. A romantic and timeless look.
An exciting trend taking shape is the rise of gender-fluid garments. Designers are challenging traditional gender norms by creating ensembles beyond the binary expectations of bridal wear. Brides are exploring pantsuits, jumpsuits and tuxedos, while grooms are embracing skirts in a variety of fabrics, capes and unconventional silhouettes. This celebrates love in all its forms and allows couples to express their authentic selves on their special day.
Making a comeback, but with a modern twist, are high updos. Think sleek buns but with a hint of softness, low chignons with textured volume or twisted updos featuring unique hairpieces. Offering a polished style that also allows for personalisation, this look works not only for long hair, but also with various textures.
Taking cues from icons such as Audrey Hepburn and Brigitte Bardot, this 60s and 70s inspired trend brings timeless beauty into the modern age and works particularly well for brides wanting a vintage vibe. Makeup focuses on bold lashes, winged eyeliner and soft, matte lips in nudes, pinks and corals. For your hair, try bouffant, or teased half-up styles, and add accessories inspired by those eras – such as bejewelled headbands or floral crowns.
Being more conscious of the environmental impact of their beauty choices is becoming increasingly important to UK brides, and many are going for cruelty-free options. Look for high performing brands that don’t compromise on ethics or quality and use natural ingredients.
A highly decorative, ornamental design that features a wedding logo, hidden message, family crest or date is a popular addition. Some brides are opting to place personalisation discreetly inside their dress’s lining, while others are featuring them more prominently on their veil or train.
The bridal scarf is a beautifully delicate, modern addition to your wedding gown. It can elevate a look from simple elegance to stylish queen and pairs perfectly with chunky heels. With more brides opting for alternative accessories, capes are receiving a resounding ‘yes – make a dramatic entrance and swish down the aisle in style, exuding a sense of mystery, elegance and power.
What type of train is on the mind of many brides at the moment? Watteau. Attaching at the shoulders or upper back of the dress, it gives a cape-like look which follows the bride as she walks. Coming in a variety of lengths and widths –ranging from gentle sweep to dramatic cathedral – they are attracting an increasing amount of attention for their contemporary style and versatility.
Coloured gemstones in bridal jewellery adds personality and vitality. Whether they’re worn as earrings, necklaces or rings, the vibrant colours of brilliant stones –such as sapphires, emeralds and rubies – brings a bold contrast to diamonds for a unique look.
Sweet romanticism is a trend within bridal jewellery due to the popularity of delicate floral designs. From flower-shaped earrings to big, floral necklaces, this is fabulous for brides wanting to enhance feminine flair.
Your wedding necklace can tie the entire outfit together. Choose to keep it simple with a subtle piece that complements your other jewellery, or go bold with a statement necklace that steals the show!
Within Indian weddings, maang tikka is a piece of jewellery that's a symbol of grace representing beauty, femininity and love. This traditional ornament frames your face while adding cultural importance and style.
There is no other piece of jewellery quite like the wedding ring. Our headline sponsor, James Porter & Son, understands this – combining timeless craftmanship with modern elegance. One example of their expertise is the Platinum Pear Cut Lab
Grown Diamond Ring from their Porter’s Studio Collection.
So many venue styles, and Scotland has them all. When you envisage your big day, where do you see yourself?
Houses of worship – temples, mosques, monasteries, churches –remain popular as wedding venues. If it’s important for you to acknowledge your faith in marking your marriage, these ornate buildings have a longstanding mandate, and can set the tone beautifully even if religion is not your abiding priority.
A non-denominational but equally grand and opulent option is a stately home. If you’re after a touch of luxury in a timeless setting, Scotland has a fabulous array of magnificent houses that can serve as wedding venues, often located in beautiful parts of the country and sitting in extensive grounds.
Love being by the water? Then the serenity of the sea could mean that a beach wedding, with soft sand and gentle breeze, would suit you. This setting also lends itself to more casual clothing, so can take pressure off when it comes to attire.
If it’s a fairy tale experience that you’re after, then a castle – with grand turrets, sweeping landscapes and opulent halls – adds a magical touch. As they’re often exclusive-use, and feature grand halls and majestic ballrooms, they offer space to host both the ceremony and reception, with plenty of guests and dancing. Plus, with ornate furnishings and intricate details, castles offer a beautiful backdrop, without the need for much additional décor. Scotland is the perfect place for castle lovers – there are so many breathtaking examples to choose from.
Convenience and versatility make hotels an obvious choice, and Scotland has a dizzying variety of wonderful hotel venues to choose from, including beautiful country manors, chic city locations, lochside inns and Highland retreats. Offering a range of facilities and services, many can provide all-inclusive packages to make preparations easier – from space for longer guest lists and accommodation for some to stay, to catering and multiple rooms to change things up between ceremony and reception.
From town halls to banquet halls, these spaces are just that –spacious! Banquet halls are a stylish and modern option, with event venues offering many amenities that can help towards a more seamless setup. Town halls also offer both form and function, being licensed spaces that bring a chic backdrop. You’ll find them across Scotland, from bigger cities to smaller towns, potentially suiting a wide range of wedding styles.
Continuously growing in popularity for their rustic and romantic appeal, and featuring stunning original features such as beams, barn weddings are a lovely choice for brides and grooms who would like both a bohemian and historical vibe for their day. Barn wedding venues in Scotland also range in size, so can suit both smaller gatherings and larger parties. Similarly, farms can offer a certain charm that is both picturesque and cosy, particularly suitable for animal lovers or those more adept at country living. Say ‘I do’ surrounded by lush fields and twinkling lights? Bliss.
Beautiful. Natural. Botanical. So, it perhaps shouldn’t surprise that the sun is shining on glasshouses as a popular wedding venue at the moment. Not to mention the great natural lighting for your photos! If you’re real lovers of nature, then this is a great venue choice to reflect that – and can provide any necessary protection from the glorious elements of UK weather!
After somewhere with a bit of quirk? An attraction – such as art galleries, museums, libraries or aquariums – could be just the ticket. With built-in décor, that may even double as entertainment, these venues are a great option for couples who have a love of culture or an interest in something different. There are many options for letting your imagination run riot in Scotland – you don’t need to be restricted by tradition if you want a wedding they’ll all remember!
For laidback couples, looking for an intimate atmosphere in a relaxed setting, a pub or restaurant could be the ideal option. As well as their own cosy charm, these venues can also offer
great food – adding another note to the easy-going approach, as you could cross catering off your list. And don’t forget the ready-made bar!
When thinking of wedding venues, you’d be fore-given if a golf course didn’t come to mind. However, they could be underrated in their offering – wellmaintained rolling greens, water features and classy clubhouses, with experienced event staff to help make sure things go without a hitch when you get hitched! Sports fans may love the idea of getting married at their favourite football stadium, racecourse or cricket ground – venues that may even inspire a theme for your day.
Offering similar protective measures, this venue type arguably brings the most flexibility – a blank canvas for you to customise everything from décor and catering and even location! The day can formal and traditional, or relaxed and unique. With capacity for larger numbers, you don’t have to restrict the guest list.
Tasty trending treats will further sweeten your big day
Baking up a storm as one of the top new wedding trends are cake meadows, which is a centrepiece cake surrounded by cascading flowers, fruits with some decorative touches. Auburn and marigold leaves are well-suited to autumn weddings, while peonies and hydrangea create an ebullient experience for those held in late spring or summer. Some couples are even adding floral-scented candles to insert another dimension to the fragrant, sensual experience.
More flavours from Southeast and South Asian traditions will be crossing cultures to make their way into frostings and sponges over the coming years as wedding traditions widen their horizons. Expect to experience luscious tastes such as coconut, mango and the herbaceous and vanilla notes of pandan.
As a way of giving guests a different and memorable treat, instead of serving up a plated course, many couples are opting to offer an array of passed desserts –presented similarly to the distribution of hors d’oeuvres during a cocktail hour.
As wedding personalisation becomes increasingly prominent, the late-night feast has become more than just a culinary indulgence – it’s also a reflection of a couple’s desire to create unforgettable moments for their guests. From sweet food trucks to buffets, churro stalls to doughnut bars, this is a brilliant way of ensuring that the joyous spirit of your day continues long after the last dance.
The traditional wedding cake remains a centrepiece of most weddings, but there are plenty of creative alternatives to fire the imagination. Imagine crepe stacks and mille-feuille layers; profiterole pyramids and macaron towers…. There are no rules when it comes to satisfying your sweet tooth.
Trending thematic styles are packing bold, bright colours, earthy tones and luxurious textures
Inspired by Mediterranean hues, hot-trend wedding palettes are rich in warm, earthy tones – such as terracotta, olive and sunlit gold – combined with ocean blues and crisp whites. The bold beauty of the Mediterranean also brings trending pairings of coral and teal. These colour schemes work everywhere from rustic farms to grand manor houses and bring a natural yet elegant feel to everything from bridesmaid dresses and bouquets to table settings.
Between heirloom tomato centrepieces, mushroom bouquets and cabbage aisle markers, the market for produce décor is sprouting up in the wedding sector. Perfect for those serving farm-to-table menus, and barn wedding inspiration.
Turning even the simplest venue into a warm and welcoming space, drapery is set to be the unsung hero of wedding décor trends in the coming seasons. Creating transformations emulating lush and romantic retreats, couples are layering soft fabrics everywhere – from ceilings, across doorways, over tables…
A refreshed take on the 1920s –with black, gold and jewel tones, the Art Deco style features geometric patterns, opulent décor and lavish florals. Want to get a bit of Great Gatsby but with a contemporary twist? Consider bold lighting, feathered centrepieces and jazz-inspired components.
Inspired by period dramas, this romantic theme delivers vintage elegance. Think chandeliers and candelabras, intricate floral displays and lace detailing. Pastel shades and gilded accents also lend a romantic feel to grand venues or heritage sites.
Fancy a step beyond the expected beach wedding style? The theme of ‘bold tropical elegance’ uses vibrant colours, exotic blooms and rich greenery to create a lush, island-inspired atmosphere. Featuring tropical palms, bold floral arches and rattan furniture, this theme brings a laidback yet sophisticated vibe that is ideal for summer or destination weddings.
Three reasons why a Scottish wedding can be truly unique
Scotland has a proud history of making marriage easy, fun and inclusive, and leads the way in liberalising the whole process. Whereas in other areas a wedding venue has to be sanctioned specifically for hosting legally binding ceremonies, in Scotland the licence to marry goes with the celebrant. So, a humanist celebrant – conductor of a non-religious ceremony – can carry out a wedding anywhere, inside or out – provided permission has been granted by the landowner and the registrar is notified of the location in advance. With all this freedom, and no shortage of scenic settings in Scotland, you won’t struggle to find somewhere that truly captures your heart.
There are lots of old wedding traditions in Scotland. Holding an ‘oathing’ stone in your hands while reciting your vows is a centuries-old tradition taken from the Celtic custom of ‘setting an oath in stone’. This is also believed to be where the phrase ‘set in stone’ comes from. Though it has since taken on numerous variations, originally the couple and their guests would gather near a body of water – because it was believed to make the vows stronger and the ceremony more binding. Then, they would either throw the stone in the water or
keep it as a momentum of their commitment. Nowadays, couples have their names and wedding date carved into their own oathing stone, usually gifted to them by a friend or family member. Other customs include paying the piper, handfasting (or tying the knot), drinking from a quaich (or two-handled drinking cup), and jumping the broom, all believed to bring good luck.
Not every Scottish wedding couple favours wall-to-wall tartan, but it’s lovely to include a dash of local colour here and there, both in your style and the cuisine you choose. Brides may think thistles in their bouquet, symbolising devotion and durability in Celtic tradition, a tartan garter or brooch, or a Scottish wool stole or wrap to contrast the dress and perhaps coordinate with the groom, who might consider a personalised sgian dubh tucked in his sock and hand-woven tartan rose in his buttonhole. As for the menu, why not get creative with some classics, in both food and drink? For example, haggis bon bon canapes, followed by a starter of locally sourced salmon, and Highland beef fillet or roe deer venison for main. You could choose a welcome drink with a Scottish twist, such as a new take on an Old Fashioned, blending artisanal whisky and local honey.
Guys get dolled up too! Check out some style savvy groom trends for the coming seasons…
From deep emerald and navy to burgundy and pink, it’s about pushing boundaries. Gone are the days of feeling limited to a simple black tux or grey suit, it’s all about showing personality through what you choose to wear.
Once sidelined in favour of more modern options, the morning suit is making a resurgence. A trend that could be a top choice for grooms looking to blend timeless elegance with contemporary flair, morning suits are perfect for those appreciative of a touch of tradition. The latest, blue variant of this classic also offers a sophisticated twist.
Less formal groomswear is an increasingly popular look for men, particularly for outdoor or destination weddings. Everything from unstructured blazers and breathable, softer fabrics – such as linen or lightweight cotton – to open-collared shirts and forgoing ties altogether.
The new trend for grooms’ shoes is custom! Footwear that suits not only their look, but also their overall vibe. From loafers to polished brogues or even trainers, footwear has officially stepped up its game. Now it’s also a way to showcase some flair – coloured soles, engraved initials and even funky designs are making an appearance. Matching your shoes to the theme is also on the rise, whether it’s a laidback beach wedding or chic urban affair.
Social media has become an essential part of life - and weddings! Here are 5 tips for great content
A story that gets people invested will often follow an arc – ie. have a clear beginning, middle and end. If you’re sharing your wedding journey, the arc will likely be: your engagement at the beginning; the planning stages in the middle, and your wedding or honeymoon at the end. These can be divided into multiple, smaller story arcs, across numerous posts. For instance, a ‘before the big day’ arc showing the lead-up, or a ‘during the wedding’ arc, capturing the ceremony and reception. Forming this narrative structure can keep your viewers engaged – and may even increase your chances of going viral, if that’s your thing!
Creating a personalised wedding hashtag is an effective way of keeping your wedding content together – so encourage your guests to use it for any of their content, too. In your wedding hashtag, consider incorporating your names, wedding date or a play on words representing your relationship.
Authenticity is attractive. People love a look behind the scenes, so consider sharing elements such as
getting ready with your bridesmaids, and first dance rehearsals, to build engagement. Another big hitter is sharing the history of your love story. Maybe share a montage of your relationship or throwback photos, leading up to the big day. The key is to create content that evokes emotion and incorporates humour.
High-quality photos and videos will help your content to stand out. Most smartphones do the job well enough, so no need to splurge on equipment. To improve the quality of your posts, music and editing are significant elements. Try popular or trending songs that fit your wedding’s style. Use editing tools such as Adobe Lightroom or Canva to adjust brightness, contrast or colour on photos, or software such as CapCut or Adobe Premier Rush to help create professional-looking videos
Some couples make sure they get the memories they want by hiring a specialist content creator. It’s all about the celebration, of course, but don’t forget to consider your guests’ privacy too – not everyone is comfortable with images being published.
Laura and Alexander Deas dreamt of an outdoor wedding, and marrying abroad seemed the perfect way.
Marrying abroad is hot in more ways than one! Newlywed Laura Deas talks us through planning her big day in Croatia
Croatia permits foreigners to have a legal marriage ceremony in the country – usually officiated in the Croatian language, with a court translator present – and, from visiting Dubrovnik the year before, and feeling enamoured with its characterful history and architecture, they figured its Old Town would be the perfect setting. “We loved the idea of being near the sea and knew our guests would enjoy visiting as we felt it had something for everyone,” says Laura. “It’s also a short threehour flight from Scotland.”
Working for The Scottish Wedding Show, Laura was well placed to plan her own big day. “The Scottish Wedding Show helped provide lots of inspiration for styles, up-and-coming trends and helped us achieve the vision we had in mind. It steered us when pulling together our to-do list.”
Any wedding requires lots of planning and preparation, but a wedding overseas has additional steps. “We researched wedding planners, dates, and venues. As the sun sets at different times depending on the time of year, we had to consider this when planning the day to ensure we got the most out of having a reception venue that featured the sun setting over the sea.
“We also researched flights from Scotland to Dubrovnik before choosing which day to be married on, to make it as easy as possible for our guests to travel. From there, we worked closely with our wedding planner on the details.”
comfortable that everything was in hand.
“She completely understood our vision and provided essential guidance in legal processes and budget. She had fantastic relationships with a vast range of top-tier wedding suppliers and provided great recommendations. Katarina highlighted any potential obstacles with city restrictions and unforeseen costs. On the day of the wedding, she was there from first thing in the morning until the end of the evening. She oversaw everything to ensure a seamless day.” Katarina also gave Laura and Alex guidance, on the logistics of marrying abroad. “This was essential as the guidelines for UK couples filing paperwork changed a few months before and we were one of the first couples under the new process.
As flights from Scotland operate only in summer, Laura and Alexander couldn’t meet wedding planner Katarina (Dukata Weddings and Events) in advance but she made them feel
“It is important to be aware of the lead times and deadlines for filing paperwork, as it can take weeks for the paperwork you have applied for to come back,” Laura advises.
There were some aspects that Laura found easier than expected.
“I was able to tick off a lot of my to-do list in Scotland and book extra hold luggage to take things with me. There’s a wonderful community of suppliers in Dubrovnik. This made planning from a distance a lot easier.” Laura utilised her knowledge of designers she loved to arrange dress appointments in Scotland, as well as arranging groom and groomsmen suits, outfits for the couple’s mothers, and bridesmaids from home.
The wedding stationery could also be sorted from Scotland, as well as the reception they planned for their return from Croatia. Being able to plan the wedding primarily from home, using a blend of Croatian and Scottish suppliers, made it possible for Laura and Alex to personalise every aspect of their dream day.
Elopement is in vogue, but it no longer just means running away to get married secretly. There are lots of ways to approach a more intimate celebration of your love
The taste for adventurous elopements has been climbing, year on year – especially in mountainous areas such as the Alps, the Dolomites or even the Cairngorms. They are a great choice for couples who want to be connected to nature for the ceremony and who are after epic and unique photo opportunities!
While many choose to elope as a couple, others prefer to incorporate their friends and family into their day. This could include asking a loved one to officiate or write or record a personal message for you to keep and document your special day.
An elopement may seem easier, but you still need to think about lots of things – transport, accommodation, photography, what to wear… As with many weddings in Scotland, the celebrant is the key, as they can marry you pretty much anywhere, and tailor your bespoke experience. But you’ll need witnesses for a legal marriage, and if this goes against your idea of a dream elopement, you could consider a symbolic ceremony, formalised by an official ceremony later. Finding the perfect photographer and/or videographer is also key, as your photos and videos are not just your memories, but will also be
how you share your day with loved ones who are not there in person. Eloping as a couple is also a great choice if you and your partner want to do your own thing without too many opinions influencing your day.
If you like the idea of marking the occasion in a more personal, intimate way, yet you’d still like to have a celebration with friends and family, you could have an elopement ceremony, but with a reception or party with more people afterwards! You can still include touches of a traditional wedding, but can pick and choose all the parts you’d want –giving you full control!
Seemingly small but significant touches can make your day memorable
While long banquet tables may be a common sight at weddings, a serpentine tablescape brings a unique twist. Though they may require a little extra effort, an elongated, winding setup has become a favourite for couples having an intimate or spring-summer wedding.
A photobooth is a wedding staple that offers guests entertainment and couples a personalised keepsake. Freshen it up using props, or a trendy black and white version that mixes a classic with a timeless aesthetic.
If you find the choice between live music and a DJ a tough one, why not opt for the best of both worlds? Hybrid entertainment is on the rise –which could mean a few musicians playing over DJ-mixed tracks, creating lots of energy without the expense of a full live band. You could even switch up styles to mark different stages of your day, with live music physically directing guests from one part of the evening to the next. Imagine a string quartet serenading your guests while you dine, before switching to a DJ to get the party going!
Gone are the days of a bride’s side and a groom’s side. Encouraging guests to ‘pick a seat, not a side’ is a more relaxed approach to seating. Adding a sense of unity, this is the perfect choice for couples seeking a truly family-oriented vibe on the big day.
Natural, wild and whimsical, more and more wedding aisles are blooming with meadow-inspired florals, featuring loose, garden-inspired blossoms seeming to grow organically. This unstructured look brings an earthy, boho feel to your ceremony –perfect for both outdoor weddings and indoor settings that crave a touch of nature.
We’re seeing a resurgence in the matchbook. Customise these to commemorate your big day and offer your guests a wedding favour with a touch of classic flair. Wedding branding is also being seen more – with couples creating a crest, logo, or even custom fragrances, and supplying personalised welcome bags to mark the occasion
Extending beyond the traditional entertainment, why not create fun experiences for your guests, such as DIY cocktail bars and pick ‘n’ mix stations. You can add unique performances to provide experiential entertainment, via performers such as aerialists or live painters – adding a truly unforgettable touch.
That’s So Sketch can be there on your wedding day sketching your guests, LIVE. We hand draw fashion illustration like sketch’s, allowing your guests to take home a forever favour from your special day!
