How long does the loan process take?

What are the terms for loans?

For loans up to $50,000 up to 15 years. For loans greater than $50,000 up to 20 years.

What is “Agreed Value” vs “Actual Cash Value” policy?

An Agreed Value policy will provide payment of the agreed value listed on the policy in the event of a total loss. Actual Cash Value factors in depreciation based on the age of the vessel.

What are the closing costs?

In addition to your down payment, closing costs can include sales tax, Newcoast service fee, and title and registration fees.

The age of the vessel, limits of coverage, owner’s experience, usage type, and navigational territory are major factors in determining overall cost. Our team will work with insurance carriers to find the best options for your policy, with the goal to make sure you have the best price without sacrificing coverage.

What information do you need to approve my loan application?

For loans up to $250,000, a simple application is all that’s needed. For loans above $250,000, we will also need a limited financial package in order to complete your loan submission.
