He and his Tanzanian wife are organizing small coffee growers into a co-op whereby profits from their world-class coffee are shared more equitably with the growers (www.sweetunityfarmscoffee.com). Alison Taggart-Barone has been in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1980. She currently lives in Alameda and works for the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy as photo editor and photographer. She also manages the digital image repository for the Golden Gate National Parks and photographs for them extensively. She and husband Larry Barone have three children: twins Nick and Jeff, aged 27, and Tina, aged 22. Alison’s images can be seen at www.alisontaggartbarone.com.
Liz Connery Mitchell writes: Enjoying life in Marblehead. I’ve been heading up my own interior design firm for 25 years, doing both residential and commercial projects. I see Sarah Hale Hughes ’72 regularly and Facebook has been a great source for staying in touch with NCCS pals!
Tom Speers recently saw Steve MacKenzie and Blair MacKenzie Van Brunt ’76 at Ethel Walker School for the dedication of the Head’s House in memory of Steve and Blair’s aunt, Deborah Williams MacKenzie.
Peter von Ziegesar sends the news: I am living in Brooklyn with my wife, Hali Lee, and three children: Alden, Maya and Magnus. After four years of hard labor, my memoir, The Looking Glass Brother, came out June 25, 2013.

Blair Bridgman-Fralin writes: Our family has been lucky to all be so near each other in Richmond, Va. I have a beautiful grandson, and my youngest daughter, Leah, who just turned 17, is an up-and-coming young equestrian competing in the Olympic sport of three day eventing (www.leahsdream.com).

Jon Isham sends this update: I am a professor of economics at Middlebury, where I am also the director of the Environmental Studies and the faculty director of the Center for Social Entrepreneurship. It is thrilling that so many folks with NCCS connections are part of the Middlebury community, including the daughter of Don O’Brien ’73 P ’05, ’06 and two sons of Scott Stevens ’76. And so glad that Lauren Kimberly Calahan will be up here over the summer for a forum on social entrepreneurship in the liberal arts. Finally, I just had a great reunion with Jamie Resor and Alex Stoddard in D.C. Next time, Sam Speers will join us.
