REASON

Given Trust Given, Respect Returned Immersion activities have a lasting impact beyond the program experience itself. Here Brian Yuran ’13, a Four Springs Farm participant, monitors tomato plants with Trip Coordinator Arlene Jachim. The Four Springs Farm students planted peppers, cucumbers, marigolds, lettuce, broccoli and tomato seeds in early April in the NA greenhouse as part of their farm experience. Plants were then distributed to the NA community to encourage everyone to catch the gardening “bug” for organic vegetables and flowers.
