All members of the community are warmly invited to attend
This momentous occasion comes after a fire tragically destroyed the church’s longtime home at the corner of Austin and Washington Streets on August 17, 2024.
While the flames claimed the building, they did not extinguish the spirit, faith, or mission of the congregation.
Over the past ten months, First Christian Church has continued its ministries and worship, supported by unwavering faith and the encouragement of the local community. The new facility
on N. Osage Blvd represents not only a fresh start but also a testimony to God’s faithfulness and the resilience of a devoted church family.
“Our hearts are full as we prepare to step into this new chapter,” said Dr. Jeff Robinson, pastor of First Christian Church. “This building stands as a symbol of hope, grace, and the strength we’ve found in Christ and in one another throughout this journey. We will dedicate this building to God as a place where love and truth come
together as we make disciples for Jesus Christ.”
The dedication service will be a celebration of what God has done in the past and what he holds for the future.
Founded more than 150 years ago, First Christian Church of Nevada remains committed to serving the community through worship, outreach, and discipleship. The congregation looks forward to continuing its mission to make disciples for Jesus.
