Free insulation offer ends soon The Warmer Wirral free insulation ends soon, so Wirral residents are urged to apply now to ensure they don't miss out! Applications must be received before 31 October. Led by environmental charity Energy Projects Plus, in partnership with Wirral Council and British Gas, Warmer Wirral has fitted free insulation in over 19,000 homes. Under this scheme all Wirral residents (private tenants or owner-occupiers) are entitled to free loft and cavity wall insulation, which otherwise cost around ÂŁ400. All it involves is a quick survey to determine if your home is suitable for the work, then free insulation will be installed by British Gas. Loft clearances can be arranged for those unable to do it themselves and clearance is free for elderly/disabled people. Loft and cavity wall insulation are the most cost-effective way of reducing energy consumption. To ensure you don't miss out, please call freephone 0800 043 0151 or visit www.warmerwirral.org.uk. 15
