The Library.

The Stellenbosch University library never disappoints. You will always find an open seat and (mostly) functioning Wi-Fi.

These faculty-specific study spots are always good options Equipped with printers and computers, you will have everything you need to power through your assignments.

Study Centre (SS)

The SS, as it is colloquially known, is in the JC Smuts building – you enter it as you walk across the bridge to the Engineering Building. It is extremely large, and so you will almost never struggle to find an open seat

Jan Mouton Learning Centre

The Jan Mouton Learning Centre is also a good study spot and is located close to the Neelsie if you’re craving some late-night coffee (or waffles!). The Jan Mouton has computer user areas which makes it a great working spot.

AROUND-CAMPUS

Mood Coffee Bar

Located in Ryneveld Street, Mood Coffee Bar is a fantastic place to work and study. Their coffee is also great, which is a massive plus! They are open from 07:00 to 17:00 on weekdays, and till 14:00 over weekends.
