Hit the snooze button.

It might sound redundant, but sleep really is as important as everyone says. I know that as university students the word “sleep” is outside the realm of our vocabularies, but it ought to be one of our main priorities. A well-rested mind is sharper, quicker, and less anxious. Moreover, studies have shown that sleep boosts students’ ability to retain and recall information. So don’t feel guilty for going to sleep instead of doing last-minute cramming. Often, sleeping is the most productive thing you can do!

The best study method.

Of all the study methods I have tried, and trust me, I’ve tried a lot, this one is by far the most effective. Active recall involves forcing yourself to recall all the information you can remember without looking at your notes. By putting yourself in a similar situation to when you will be when writing your test, you are able to prepare holistically for your upcoming exams.

Emotional.

Reach out to someone

Often we can forget that we are not alone in dealing with academic stress Reach out to others who have done the modules you’re stressing about. In my experience, people are more than eager to share their wisdom If that is not an option, try reaching out to a friend or mentor for guidance. It is never productive to suffer in silence.
