Lions create Nelson ‘passport’ The Nelson North Lions Club is selling passports, don’t worry though it’s not the illegal kind. The club has attracted sponsorship from local businesses and put together a Nelson passport. The “passport” folds out and allows the owner to put their personal information on, Dave says he has had one for almost ten years. “They are great, especially when travelling, all your

information, including medical details, can go there and it’s easier than having to carry all sorts of paper in your wallet.” The club is selling the passports for $3 each or two for $5. Money raised from the passports will be used for projects at the Lions Playground at Tahunanui and will be sold at the Saturday market or by calling Dave on 547 5548.

Each week photos from the museum’s “glass plate” collection will run in Nelson Weekly to try to find out more about them.
