Dear Brothers & Sisters in Scouting, Since 2008, I have served the young people and the National Scout Associations of Eastern Africa in various capacities and with great honour. It has been six eventful years and the time has come to pass on the mantle of youth leadership. I thank you all for giving me the opportunity and for the support along the way. As I leave the office of Chairperson of the Eastern Africa Zonal Scout Youth Committee, I urge you to support the new team to continue the work towards creating a better world and making Scouting the leading educational movement of choice for young people across the zone; which is a key contribution to the East African Community integration process.
