RESUMO: O presente artigo trata de uma análise da representação do feminino na história Façade, presente no universo Sandman, do autor britânico Neil Gaiman. Através de teorias de estudos de gênero, tentaremos mostrar como a violência contra o feminino serve de ferramenta para a construção da história em questão e que o feminino apresenta-se, na narrativa, como impotente perante o masculino. ABSTRACT: This article is on the analysis of the representation of female characters in Façade, part of the Sandman universe, written by the British author Neil Gaiman. Through gender studies theories, we try to show how the violence against the female characters serves as a tool to the construction of the story and how the feminine is shown, in the narrative, as impotent when facing the masculine.
