APOLOGIES FOR NONATTENDANCE Received from Miss Ballard, Mrs Boden, Messrs Babey and Ballard. MINUTES of the TWELFTH Meeting of the SOUTHERN CENTRE BOARD for the 2019 Session, held on Thursday 5th DECEMBER 2019 were received and accepted as a true record. Centre Chairman, Mr Bob Hewson, took the Chair. MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES: a) Moto Cross and Technical Seminars, Saturday 18th January: Thanks extended to Mr Chris Warren for presenting both Seminars. Results are awaited; b) Enduro Seminar, SEEC: Centre Clubs were invited to attend the Seminar on Saturday 4th January. Results are awaited. 4.Attendance: The Book was circulated and returned with 10 signatures: 7 Officers (representing 12 posts) and 7 Delegates (representing 4 Clubs).

CORRESPONDENCE: a) Waltham Chase MCC: Requests to move Restricted Trial from Saturday21st March to 22nd and for a new Restricted Trial on Sunday 9th August. Both approved; b) Waterside MCC: Request to upgrade Restricted Trials on Saturdays 18th April, 20th June, 18th July and 15th August to Open status (OSET Cup Series), agreed. FROM ACU: a) ACU Handbook for 2020 is now available on line; b) Updated Policy documents re Child Protection, social media and anti-bullying advised to Clubs and will be added to the ACU website; c) Basic Permit issued: RORE, Open Hare and Hounds, Sunday 16th February. ACU AFFILIATIONS FOR 2020: Renewals were due by 31st January (previously 31st October). To date, 17 Clubs have renewed to the Centre and it seems a number have renewed online to the ACU. Details awaited. The top secret code numbers needed to renew Competition Licences/ Trials Registrations will not be issued to Clubs until Affiliation has been paid.

Tongham Tigers (Sports) MCC regretfully have to announce the cancellation of our trial on Sunday May 10th. With the uncertain situation surrounding

SUB-COMMITTEE REPORTS: Moto Cross Mr Hewson reported: a) Waterlooville MCC has been awarded a British Championship Round at Cusses Gorse on Sunday 26th July; b) It is understood that Winchester MCC is leaving the ACU to operate under the MCF code. Clarification awaited; c) 2019 Centre Championships, Good Friday, 19th April: Results are still awaited from Winchester MCC. These are needed for the Centre's records, engraving, replicas and for payment of prize money for the H.B.Wakefield Championship; d) Mr Miller has decided not to renew his Moto Cross Clerk of the Course/ Stewards Licence. Trials Mr Wiseman reported: Centre Awards will be presented at Waltham Chase MCC Awards Evening, Saturday 8th February 2020. All tickets are now sold and most Award winners will attend to collect their trophies. Meeting closed: 21.50 hrs.

SOUTHERN CENTRE MEETING MINUTES Thursday 6th February 2020

Mr Barry New, Centre President, welcomed everyone to the meeting. He reported that the Centre was represented at the funeral of the late Jack Appleby whose death was announced at the AGM. It was agreed to donate £100 to the family's chosen charities in his memory.
