Felix Barbosa, J Blue and Toochie Loc How long have you guys been signed to UGK records? TSB: 1-year now, we were signed in 2011 That’s awesome. How does it feel to officially be a signed artist? I know you guys have been working hard. TSB: It’s been great. We are so blessed and happy to be a part of this label. Mama C, (who is the late Pimp C’s mother), is the head of the label. She is so inspiring and amazing to work for. Oh and a great cook, her gumbo is the bomb! Yes, we have been working hard and on the road a lot, it’s been a learning experience meeting a ton of new people Gumbo?! That’s my talk! I’m so happy for you guys to be on a label, it’s awesome to be following in the foot steps of a hip hop legend such as Pimp C. I have heard your music & I can definitely say you boys definitely hold their own. Do you guys have a manager right now, or is Mama C helping on your project? TSB: Currently, we are self managing right now, with assistance from Mama C. She gives us all creative control and trusts us completely.

They are signed to UGK Records, and with that, have been working with many of the top artists in the industry, as well as having been featured on coast to coast mix tapes (including, DJ Drama’s mix tape). With all of these amazing experiences happening for them, BIZZY B takes a moment to get to know these southeastern Texas boys.
With all of the traveling, which cities have been showing love on the music scene? TSB: Well the home state of Texas always shows love, of course. But in Texas we live differently, you can feel the culture in the music. But, we do love working in Atlanta. What would you want your fans to know about you all individually? TSB: J Blue: I don’t want my fans to think that I’m above them, when you see me, holla at me Toochi Loc: I am who I say I am. I am kind of the serious one of the group.
