Dear Members,
I would like to be first to officially invite you to the culminating event of the year, the 45th Annual NEBLSA Regional Convention taking place in Cambridge, Massachusetts from January 23rd-27th, 2013. This year’s convention promises to be great like all the ones before it and caters to you the members. We have an exciting lineup of programing, as well as networking opportunities, and of course the much anticipated Awards Gala. We have made a major change in order to accommodate your needs and lives as law students. In an effort to place school first, we have condensed our action packed week into a fun-filled weekend. We hope this will be a welcomed change. The competitions will commence at their regularly scheduled times but the convention programming will begin on Friday, January 25, 2013.
I hope that this Convention Preview gives you an overview of what will be a great weekend so that you can get ready for Beantown. I hope to see you soon!

Let me first say, what a year! It’s funny how these things go so fast. It was just yesterday that I took office. Thank you all for your support this year; it was greatly appreciated.
convention still has an exciting schedule of events. As always, we will kick off the convention with the Welcome to Boston Reception/Alumni Reception. Then we have two days filled with panels and workshops, which are being hosted by top attorneys in the region, and three plenary sessions to give you the members an opportunity to enact change in the region. You will also have the opportunity to elect the region’s new executive board. This will all culminate with the Awards Gala, featuring Frederick Morton, Jr. the founder of Tempo Networks, Inc., as well as the crowning of the top competitors in the region, and finally the naming of the Chapter of the Year.
