Lindblom got her start when, discouraged by the number of jobs requiring typing skills, she put an ad in the newspaper that read, ‘College graduate, does not type.’ The ad was answered by a local doctor, who quickly realized that Lindblom was a whiz with numbers and hired her to manage his office and later, his investments. From there, Lindblom developed several successful businesses of her own. In addition to her business pursuits, Lindblom is active in civic affairs. She has served as chairman of the Orlando Utilities Commission and as the President of United Arts of Central Florida. The “Villa Rose” collection reflects Lindblom’s ‘Renaissance woman’ persona, and encompasses fine Continental furniture, paintings, sculpture, porcelain and Asian art.
