Happy Father’s Day
The school year ends and we get to celebrate our favorite men–June is a good month! This month we’re celebrating dad with a humorous look at fatherhood from Anna Futrell (page 8) and seventeen awesome suggestions on celebrating dad (page 38). We’re also celebrating summer with our list of twenty Florida museums (lots of great day trips in that list!), where you can cool off in Collier (page 18), plus easy and cheap water activities for kids (page 40). We have another article from Anna on creating a summer “bucket list” as well. Her suggestions can help you get the summer organized so you don’t get to August and wonder where the days went. On pages 44-45 you’ll find my article about my trip to Cuba. It had long been a dream of mine to visit the island and last fall I got my chance. It was a special trip and I learned so much about Cuba and her people. If you’re thinking about a visit, I encourage you to schedule a trip soon–it’s a special country with friendly people, beautiful art, and amazing music. And, yes, we know that it’s just the end of school but we’re announcing our Back to School Expo. This year’s event is scheduled for August 13. We’ll start taking booth reservations in early June so if you’re planning on participating, contact us for a contract so you can register early. The earlier you register, the better your booth location. More details will be coming in the July issue. Happy Father’s Day to all Neapolitan Family fathers and grandfathers! Have a wonderful June.
