JUNIOR DAY SCHEDULE 10 AM Prospects arrive at football office for check in *Be sure to identify top players to HFC 10:45AM Welcome by HFC in Hall of Fame 11:00AM Campus tour (two groups to allow for more intimate tour, position coaches join the walking tour) Start in opposite directions and finish at football office. GROUP 1 = DEFENSE AND SPECIAL TEAMS GROUP 2 = OFFENSE Group 1: Athletic facilities !. Stadium 2. Weight room – presentation by strength coach *Get height, weight and photo of prospects 3. Equipment room – show off gear 4. Training room 5. Academic center Group 2: Non athletic areas 1. Student store 2. Union 3. Quad 4. Dorms 5. Tour guides pre-selected to spend time with specific prospects and lead tour 6. Jones, Jackson and Harris families will be held out of tour to meet one on one with HFC and position coaches. They will get a more personal tour prior to one day camp. 12:30PM Prospects return from tour and have lunch (due to NCAA rules they will have to pay for each of their own lunches) Staff is paid for: *Coaches be sure to sit with families of top kids *Strength coach and other invited athletic and university staff, fill in tables to cover all prospects and families If there is a special need of time with a specific family the support staff will be directed by recruiting coordinator *Highlight video played at end of lunch
1:30PM Meetings start (keep group occupied to allow others meeting with HFC to catch up): *Smith, Sanders, Roberts are taken to see HFC for brief one on one meetings. Returned to position meetings ASAP to cause least amount of distraction. 2:30PM Academic and Student Services presentation and Q&A *Rep of university *Head of tutors and academic services *Head trainer 3:15PM Athletic Director presentation 3:30PM Head Coach presentation 4:00PM Dismiss group for the day *Keep Barnes, Johnson, Williams, Lewis and Thompson families to spend some one on one time with HFC. Assistant coaches will occupy their families while others are in with HFC. 5:00PM Basketball Game *Halftime – If more time is needed with HFC we can take them to his office for a visit. Offers can be made at this time. We have 21 tickets for the game, the Barnes, Jackson, Williams, Jones, Sanders, Smith and Harris families are able to stay and attend game. Tickets for coaches that are recruiting these athletes and position coaches are available to sit with these families. Other tickets are available for all staff if wanted. *Following game – HFC is still available Good time to make offers to families before they leave for the day
1:15PM Position coaches take their prospects to their meeting room to get acquainted and talk philosophy, etc.
