MEET THE NEW COLLEGE TEAM Stuart has worked for the last 12 years as a Senior Leader in two outstanding sixth form colleges in the north of England. Prior to this he has been a Head of Department in an 11-18 Comprehensive School in Shropshire and worked as a GCSE Geography coursework moderator, an A-Level examiner and a staff trainer for a teacher training provider. Stuart has overseen the strategic development of teaching, learning and assessment at New College Pontefract. He is currently replicating the success of this model in New College Doncaster through a trust-wide programme of continuing professional development that is frequent, sustained, and evidence-based.

As Principal of New College Bradford, Stuart’s key focus will be to offer a similar distinctive post-16 pedagogy based on high quality teaching and independent learning to deliver outstanding student outcomes for the young people of Bradford.
DAVE HUNT VICE PRINCIPAL Dave has worked in sixth form colleges since 2006. A qualified accountant in a previous life, Dave has taught Business Studies and Accounting at New College since joining in 2010, achieving consistently outstanding outcomes for students over that period. Dave is currently Head of School for Academic Business and Law at New College Pontefract, and is looking forward to working as part of the leadership team, responsible for quality and performance at New College Bradford.
NAUREEN ASLAM ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL Naureen has worked in education within Bradford for the past nine years. She has worked as a classroom teacher, Lead Practitioner and led on Key Stage 5 achievement. Her work as a Specialist Leader in Education has helped improve outcomes for young people in Bradford. She is extremely passionate about the young learners in Bradford and ensuring that they fulfil their potential. Naureen joined the New Collaborative Learning Trust in September 2017, as Senior Project Lead for Bradford.
Jaz has worked in education for the last 13 years, 8 of these years were at a secondary school in Dewsbury as a classroom teacher and the last five years at an 11-16 secondary school in Bradford where he was initially appointed as the Leader of Learning for Science and soon after promoted to Vice Principal.
JAZ QADRI ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

In this role, Jaz was responsible for overseeing behaviour, attendance, safeguarding, and teaching and learning. In 2018, Jaz helped his previous school in securing a good judgment in the school’s Ofsted inspection.
