02/10/2012 - The 9th International Mobile Gaming Awards is open for entries Today, the 9th International Mobile Gaming Awards (IMGA) opens for entries! We call all developers and studios all over the world to submit online their games, which have to be published after 1 January 2012, or not published yet. The 9th edition The competition is open to everyone and every OS: students, developers, companies and artistes can participate and submit their games, competing in an international arena with top studios and individual developers from all over the world. In total, there will be 30 nominees and 9 winners in different categories. 6 additional prizes will be determined by the jury and a total value of 1 million Euro in media exposure will be made available by platinum sponsor Pro Sieben Sat.1 Games. The IMGA Summit Traditionally, the Awards are held in conjunction with the one day IMGA Summit consisting of a keynote, panels of leading experts in mobile games and pitching Sessions. About the IMGA Since 2004, the IMGA has become the most prestigious international competition for mobile games. For the past 8 years, the competition awarded the most talented game developers for the most innovative mobile games, whether they are made for iPhone, Android, Windows, Blackberry, Bada, HTML5 or feature phones. Games awarded at IMGA can be made by the top ten developers or by a start up studio and developers come from Spain or Singapore, Malaysia or Mexico, Brazil or Belgium.
