Capacity Building - the process of recruiting organizations and people to participate in a social issue or campaign. This process is often referred to as building a base. Civic Engagement - the process of helping people be active participants in building and strengthening their communities centered around the rights and duties of citizenship. Coalition Building - a way for organizations to build political power.
