GOALS & MILESTONES TO DATE GAIN RECOGNITION AS A NATIONAL AUTHORITY ON ACADEMIC HEALTH AND WELLNESS Continue marketing efforts to increase awareness of NCBHAC Ensure all founding members complete the Health Lead accreditation process Secure endorsement by a minimum of one national, leading health entity such as CDC or RWJF Encourage members to seek medical coverage of their initiatives and results Secure national media coverage of NCBHAC’s impact Attract recognition of NCBHAC members’ contribution to advancing health and wellness through their utilization of NCBHAC resources and leadership platforms Create the organizational structure to sustain NCBHAC, and enhance and improve organizational performance • Committee chairs contribute to annual report • Updates shared with membership • Regular communication and outreach from president • Quarterly conference calls with membership • Report visual dashboard of strategic plan progress to members • Review and update strategic plan goals • Seek opportunities for services and products that generate non-dues revenue Provide simple resources on the public website NCBHAC Board is currently working on forming national standards and partnerships, and offering grant funding opportunities that will propel BHAC as the national authority. BHAC acquired the Health Lead Accreditation and began determining how to best implement and institute it through NCBHAC Boards members participated in other national organizations addressing overlapping areas In the process of increasing national visibility through social media platforms and other communication resources Continuously investing in methods to engage and communicate with membership Assessing organizational structure for future growth of organization Work on new website for open access resources and member only resources INCREASE NCBHAC INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIPS TO STRENGTHEN THE ORGANIZATION’S OPERATIONS AND NATIONAL INFLUENCE Increase Institutional Membership by 10 percent increase per year Develop a membership marketing plan Issue a members-only newsletter Develop the first toolkit Improve the usability and accessibility of NCBHAC website to members Strengthen social medial communication to members Continued to grow and increase membership at all levels including one new member in the category of college/department Created Director and Marketing Strategist positions to strengthen NCBHAC and membership 10
