Their expertise is in developing new concepts for floating accommodations. Chevalier Floatels have (developed) a wide range of floatels. From five star floating hotels and worker accommodation barges up to floating prisons for governments. After the successful sale of it’s fleet of hotel vessels in the Caspian Sea, Chevalier Floatels has developed a new fleet of vessels. Not forgetting it’s history Chevalier purchased and upgraded two accommodation barges, Kalmar and Sans Vitesse. Also Chevalier has moved into the offshore DP accommodation market with two luxurious accommodation vessels DP Galyna and DP Gezina.

The Chevalier philosopy Chevalier Floatels vessels are designed to be much more than just floating accommodations. They have to be safe, efficient, comfortable.

Good engineers are hard to find, therefore comfort on board is very important. Ensuring their wellbeing also keeps their productivity maximized and reduces safety risks. Chevalier vessels feature a restaurant, spacious recreation rooms, and a gym. A large galley with quality catering makes sure our guests stay well cared for. All cabins have internet, tv with entertainment system and adjacent bathrooms. The general standard on board is very high.
DP Gezina and DP Galyna The yacht style DP 2 vessels DP Gezina and DP Galyna are designed to deliver offshore support and accommodation. They feature 48 cabins for 65 or 90 persons.

They are equipped with Ampelmann heave compensated gangway to make transfers to platforms as easy as crossing the street. The gangway is located in the centre of the vessel and on an elevated deck.
Kalmar and Sans Vitesse The two floating hotels are suited for mooring in any port. With their low drafts it is often possible to moor them close to the site where the guests are working.
Therefore the Ampelmann can make the landing to the platform over the starboard and over the port side. The high location of it makes it possible to reach structures up to 22 m above the water line. This ensures firstly, more safe boarding positions than
Kalmar has 220 cabins suited for single or double capacity. The very luxurious Sans Vitesse has 101 cabins and is because of it’s very luxury standard also suited to accommodate management or as a vessel to house client representatives.
