We presented respondents with several options and then asked them to leave their own comments about how we as a nation can tackle Housing Affordability. Here's what they told us.

Private & Nonprofit

• Let private enterprise and conventional charities work on it. Get and keep the government out of it.

Finance Changes

• For lower middle-class families, I think tax rebates and savings plans for help and maintenance would make housing more attractive.

• Bring tax increment financing

Education

• Teach fiscal responsibility. The difference between wants a different needs.

New Design

• Give owenership to individuals give them something to be proud of and use cheap resources like shipping containers to help mitigate the cost, while also forming partnerships with companies to help

Income Changes

• Wages need to be higher

• Jobs! Living wages!!

Policy Changes

• Make housing a basic right.
