Alleviating a Different Kind of Stress We’ve all hear the constant chatter on stress. Professional dowser Jeanie Pasquale explains another type which goes overlooked —geopathic stress.

ccording to Pasquale, geopathic stress describes the negative energies emanating from the earth that cause discomfort and disease to those living above them. “The most common form of geopathic stress is caused by structures being built above underground water flows. The flowing water causes a magnetic shift that disrupts energy flow causing vibrational disturbances in the buildings above,” she explains. “These disruptions affect those that live, work and sleep in these environments and can lead to negative effects including disrupted sleep, insomnia, nightmares, leg cramps, backaches, depression, aggression, mood swings, a compromised immune system, difficult work relations and more.” “As a professional dowser, I can help you address the cumulative negative effects of geopathic stress and ascertain whether the cause of your energetic disturbance is an underground water flow, and if so, use metal rods or other tools to subtly change and correct the magnetic composition of the site. You most likely will feel an immediate shift in energy of your home or office once the rods are in place,” shares Pasquale. Bridging the Gap through Faith

I

n the current environment of political, social and religious discord, it’s only natural to seek safety and comfort with those of your “tribe”. Whether that is a political party, a religion, race, class, sex or any combination thereof, these identifiers also serve to divide people from their neighbors. It becomes us (the tribe) vs. them and all that comes with it. Surrounded by only those of like-mind, division increases and barriers reinforced. As the chasm between tribes has widened, religion remains one of our greatest tribal identifiers. In the gap that has formed, organizations like One World Family Interfaith Council have stepped in to bridge the divide. Dedicated to contributing to stronger communities here in South Florida, this organization is led by a diverse group of faith leaders, including Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu. Through organizing community building events such as panel discussions, prayer gatherings and workshops, One World Family works to celebrate commonalities, educate and build a bridge of inter-connection. Join the panel discussion on how religious extremism is affecting our daily lives and the lives of those around the world. Be part of opening up the dialogue here in South Florida on how we can begin to tackle this challenging and dangerous trend within our religious traditions.
