There are opportunities in our existing export markets for expansion and we are actively working to capitalise on these with our local distribution partners in each territory. Our products are currently represented as far north as the United States and Canada and as far south as Guyana. We are constantly on the lookout for ways to expand our distribution reach and partner with associations such as the Barbados Manufacturers’ Association and the Barbados Investment and Development Corporation on export trade missions and product expositions in new geographical areas. Part of our strategy for growth includes the production of private label spreads, margarines and oils. Outside of Barbados, our private label portfolio includes Grace Prima Margarine for GraceKennedy Ltd and LASCO Margarine for LASCO Foods in Jamaica, Country House and Sun Meadow margarines and spreads for Little Woods Foods in Trinidad and Gloja’s Soybean Oil for Gloja’s Trading Ltd in St Vincent and the Grenadines. Dog food products produced by Vitamin Pet Foods are well distributed in Barbados and we hope to replicate this success throughout the region in the years to come.
