Government House Open Day
The Long Road to Emancipation
Her Excellency the Honourable Kerry Sanderson AC, Governor of Western Australia, invites visitors to explore Government House and Grounds at this autumn open day.
International award winning lace maker Olwyn Scott recounts women's social history through the ages by means of her prize winning bobbin lace panorama, proving the bobbin to be mightier than the pen! Secretly see yourself tossing those bobbins around? Have a go! You are more than welcome to try. Phone 9330 3065 on day if you need directions.
