DAYS 1–8 I DUBAI/INDIA/SRI LANKA Arrive in Dubai and delve into Emirati culture on a visit to the souks. Spend a day discovering the museums and mosques of Abu Dhabi or tour the futuristic architecture of Dubai, including the sky-scraping Burj Khalifa. Fly to Udaipur and visit the City Palace and historic temples. Meet artisans at a handicraft center or join a family for a cooking class and lunch. From Colombo, Sri Lanka, travel to Sigiriya and tour medieval Polonnaruwa and the cave temples of Dambulla. Visit Sigiriya fortress or a spice farm before a dinner with traditional music and dancing.
