DAYS 1–8 I SEATTLE, WASHINGTON, U.S./ KYOTO, JAPAN/SINGAPORE Meet in Seattle for a welcome dinner, and fly by private jet to Osaka the next day. Transfer to Kyoto, and meet innovators at laboratories and design studios. Discover temples, Zen gardens, and historic neighborhoods. Continue to Singapore, and join Wall Street Journal Asia Digital Editor Yumiko Ono for a look at the technology defining the cities of tomorrow. Experience local culture at markets and temples, and explore the futuristic Gardens of the Bay. DAYS 9–15 I UDAIPUR, INDIA/SEYCHELLES/ MASAI MARA, KENYA Fly to Udaipur and explore its marble palaces. Visit local artisans, and take a sunset cruise on Lake Pichola. In the Seychelles, dive into ocean conservation efforts with National Geographic Explorer Andrea Marshall. Learn about the endemic creatures found among these islands, and explore innovations in satellite imaging and habitat restoration. Explore the island of Mahé, including its botanical gardens, home to Aldabra tortoises and coco de mer palms. Then travel to Kenya’s Masai Mara to encounter the “big five” during two full days on safari. We’ll meet with National Geographic Emerging Explorer Paula Kahumbu here, and hope to see the legendary wildebeest migration.

DAYS 16–20 I JERUSALEM, ISRAEL/ BARCELONA, SPAIN/WASHINGTON, D.C., U.S. In Jerusalem's Old City, join National Geographic Emerging Explorer Aziz Abu Sarah on a tour that combines Jewish, Muslim, and Christian perspectives of the city. Later, visit the Holocaust memorial of Yad Vashem, trace thousands of years of history at the fascinating Israel Museum, or see the biblical sites of Bethlehem. Cap off the trip in Barcelona where Wall Street Journal Deputy Chief News Editor Gráinne McCarthy joins us. Encounter the wild creations of Gaudí, take a tour of the Mercado de la Boqueria, and gain insight into the city’s thriving start-up scene. Fly by private jet to Washington, D.C.

National Geographic magazine Editor in Chief Susan Goldberg and Thorold Barker—the editor for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for The Wall Street Journal—will each host a portion of the trip.
