any people will know soon if they are getting an income tax refund from Uncle Sam. If you are, consider investing in a security system from South Central Power. Security system components are economical and can be customized for your home or business. Choose a combination of wireless sensors to monitor for intrusion, fire, and carbon monoxide. Some members use a sump pump sensor to detect basement flooding, or a sensor to monitor the level in their propane tank. Security cameras monitor doors, driveways, and outbuildings. The cooperative can meet the security needs of small business owners, too.

More and more members are managing their security systems remotely with their smart devices and the Alarm.com mobile app. You can arm and disarm the system remotely, add and delete access codes, and turn lighting on and off. All security systems installed by South Central Power are monitored 24/7. When an alarm is activated, the system alerts you, family, or neighbors you designate, and the appropriate safety authorities. Cellular communicator technology makes it possible to have a security system without a landline telephone. Security systems from South Central Power are available to people across Ohio who are not members of the electric cooperative.
