SATURDAY 25 FEBRUARY 8PM The RTÉ Concert Orchestra With music from Beetlejuice, Sleepy Hollow, Batman Suite, Alice in Wonderland/Mars Attacks and from Bernard Hermann’s The Day the Earth Stood Still, and Korngold’s The Adventures of Robin Hood. Danny Elfman is well-known throughout the world for his award-winning scores for Batman, Spider-Man, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Mission Impossible, and the theme for The Simpsons, among many other memorable scores. The RTÉ Concert Orchestra present selections from Elfman’s film scores and the composers who influenced him. This concert is presented to you as part of the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival, which takes place in Dublin venues 16- 26 February.
