Montclair State University Takes on Fright Fest MONTCLAIR, NJ (October 13, 2014) — Thursday, October 23, 2014 will be yet another day to remember for Montclair State University Students. The annual trip to Fright Fest at Six Flags Great Adventure will continue this academic year with the low cost of $30 for students and staff and $40 for guests. To sign up visit the Student Recreation Center Office. The sign-up period has already begun and is open until October 23, 2014. Buses leaving for Fright Fest will leave at approximately 2PM from the Student Recreation Center and will arrive back on campus by 10PM. Fright Fest is an annual event that the Six Flags Theme Park puts on in celebration of Halloween. Families and individuals of all ages can enjoy the frightful holiday with a day full of entertainment and fun. Creatures of all sizes and horrifying faces join guests as they roam the park and enjoy their day filled with thrills and nights filled with frights. Not only are these creatures loose in the park but they are also able to join guests as they ride the most thrilling rides. No matter where you hide, no place is safe from these monsters. Fright Fest is a must go to event this Halloween season. As Caitlin Stanich, a student worker at the Recreation Center, states, “I believe that it is a great opportunity for students because it is very reasonable in terms of price. You get a ticket to Fright

Fest and transportation.” For a college student you can’t beat the price of $30, especially since the average cost for one general admission ticket into Fright Fest is approximately $66.99.
