Vicon systems secure some of the world’s largest maximum security prisons, smaller state and regional facilities, and everything in between. In fact, both the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons and Her Majesty’s Prison Service in England and Wales trust Vicon to keep their operations safe for prisoners, workers and visitors. By deploying Vicon’s solutions, correctional facilities maintain higher levels of situational responsiveness and increased personnel safety.
COMPLETED CORRECTIONAL PROJECTS Maricopa County, Downtown Phoenix, Arizona Maricopa County Court Tower (MCCT; with 825 IP cameras, including 208 IP V-CELL cameras), County Court Building (CCB; with more than 100 IP cameras, including megapixel models) and the Historic Old Court Building (OCB; with 25 IP cameras) are all managed and recorded on a large ViconNet NVR/SAN RAID Storage System with over 500TB of storage. This system is also designed with substantial visual management in multi-command centers by VMDC (Virtual Matrix Display Console). There is a full interface with PLCs for the Corrections/Detention floors of these facilities. Albermarle Regional County Jail, Virginia The system includes 200 V910 IP cameras and several VMDCs and SAN RAIDs.

FBOP, Victorville, California Complete Vicon IP solution that includes a combination of over 500 assorted megapixel cameras. Procuraduria General de la Nación PGR, Republic of Mexico This is an on-going project currently sized at 144 locations, including several detention centers under the supervision of the attorney general’s office for the investigation and prosecution of drug trafficking and blue collar crimes in Mexico. The system has a mix of products, including DVRs, NVRs, over 1200 cameras and 150 monitoring stations. Expansion is ongoing and expected to reach over 400 locations.
