s Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month 2015 concludes, let us not forget that it’s on all of us to know our part and do our part to eliminate sexual assault. Throughout April, we have refreshed our education on sexual assault, its impact, and how you can be an active bystander in any situation. Let’s continue to actively prevent, intervene and incorporate this knowledge throughout the year. The Sexual Assault Prevention and Response team and Fleet and Family Support Center would like to thank everyone who has supported and attended events, raised awareness,

and pledged to be an active bystander. Together we strive to eliminate sexual assault from our ranks and our Navy family. We are especially grateful to our uniformed Victim Advocates, the Coalition of Sailors Against Destructive Decisions, the vommand, and many volunteers throughout NAS Key West and its community. For victim assistance please contact the Safe Helpline by calling 1 (877) 995-5247, going to www. Safehelpline.org, or by texting 55247.The NAS Key West 24/7 Victim Advocate line is (305) 797-1408; NAS Key West Sexual Assault Response Coordinator is at the Fleet and Family Support Center on Sigsbee Park, (305) 293-2408 or (786) 383-7873.
